Who we are
The Steering Group
A Steering Group has been set up to co-ordinate and administer the activities of the Forum.
Made up of representatives of residents’ associations (click here for details) and individual residents in St James, the Group represents most parts of the ward. New residents’ associations are welcome to take part. We are encouraging representatives from the students living in the ward to become involved too.
Councillors for St James ward on Exeter City Council and St David’s/St James division on Devon County Council have standing invitations to attend meetings, as do planning and community liaison officers of Exeter City Council.
The Forum is an organisation of and for the residents of St James. A Constitution has been drafted and agreed, to ensure that members and associate members are fully involved in the work of the Forum and have powers to elect and remove officers of the Steering Group.
