The pillars pictured here to be capped in local style at a later stage.

As soon as a builder is appointed work will commence on the completion of the perimeter walls and creation of the final new entrance into the garden.

Now some disappointing news

Rise & Shine event pic.Remember the great time enjoyed at previous  events in Queen's Crescent Garden?  Unfortunately the event planned for this summer on Saturday 6 July has had to be cancelled owing to a clash of dates with Exeter Festival. The considerable effort required of volunteers could not be justified when attractions elsewhere would inevitably draw the crowds. Sadly an alternative date has not proved possible.

Apologies to all who were looking forward to the event and especially those green-fingered amongst you who have been tending to plants to donate.

However depending on volunteer support it may be possible to organise occasional pop-up plant sales and such like at the entrance to the garden. If you have plants or are willing to help contact us at info@exeterstjamesforum.org

An announcement of a date for the next community event will need to wait until the timing of the regeneration work becomes clear but when it happens we'll make sure it's a good one!

We would love to hear from anyone who is interested in getting involved with future events.
